Territory
Marches Region has got a strong historical memory about wine.
All the grapes used by Casa Vinicola Silvestroni belong to lands in Marches Region, and distinguish themselves by the different designations given by the law.
The following grapes, Sangiovese, Trebbiano and Bianco Marche, are called IGT (Typical Geographic Indication), that is, they belong to the typical geographic indication.
They indifferently grow in the whole Marches Region.
The other grapes are DOC (Denominazione di Origine Controllata, that is, name of origin controlled), they belong to areas which are well defined by law.
These are Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, Falerio dei Colli Ascolani, Rosso Conero, Rosso Piceno.
